we had a hard shell car top carrier. it was big, bulky and a pain to put on and take off. so i wanted a cargo bag but not to spend alot of money. it did what it said it would do. 1 large travel bag that is 44 inches long, 2 beach chairs, 1 sun mountain golf bag, 2 small gym bag size bags and 2 king size pillows. down and back to myrtle beach from albany ny, dry as a bone, secure and no rips in the cargo bag. for the 2-3 times a year we need the extra space, this bag does the trick.

Thank you to all who wrote reviews and a couple who even took pictures. They were REALLY helpful. No guesswork in installation thanks to the pictures! We installed it onto a 2003 Odyssey. Couldn't believe how perfectly everything turned out!

This bag is very well designed and is made of tough WATERPROOF material. We drove two hours to our destination through the occasional rainstorm and our baggage remained dry. The bag is designed to overlap the zipper and velcro keeps the overlap in place. It is zippered on three sides which makes the bottom portion completely accessible from all sides. We were able to fit two medium suitcases and a case of bottled water with a little room to spare. The ties downs easily secure the bag in place. No need for additional tie dows. Also, we did not notice any additional wind noise with the bag. I do recommend a 3'x4' piece of carpet to place betweeen the roof and bag. It would reduce wear on both surfaces.

This is a great inexpensive item that really does the job! I don't have cross rails on the roof and this easily attaches to the sides.No movement at all and could not hear any wind noise on our trip. We went through a heavy rainstorm and kept out all the water. It easily stored a huge duffel bag and 2 smaller suitcases.
